yo yo yo

HOIHOI
hey y'all. So this week has flown by. Basically it's just been a normal week though...knockin doors, lessons with our investigators, less actives....but there was a cool miracle that happened this week. So we have an investigator named Celia who we met langs de deur (knockin doors) and I may have already mentioned her in an email but basically she has been praying for a church to go to and she just wants to know the truth. like what even. so here we come, knockin her door and yeah we had an appointment with her the next week and she said she feels like this is the right thing. and she started crying. and she said she would be baptized when she came to know our chuch was true...thee coolest thing. so we expected to see her at church a few days later and she never showed up...so we were pretty bumbed so we tried calling her and texting her...no answer. so while i was on exchanges in gouda with zr. hanny we went by and she said she got called in to work and she felt so bad so we were a bit relieved. so she committed to coming to church the next week...and again, no show. we were pretty let down because celia is a golden investigator. but she didn't come so we tried calling her and texting her and no answer so we stopped by her house a few times that week and she never was home. well we were biking to a dinner appointment in woerden and guess who we passed on the way?!? CELIA!!!!!!! the Lord works in mysterious ways, people. she said she came home early because she hasn't been feeling well. so we made an appointment with her for this week. we were so happy we saw her....to be honest things are giong kinda slow here in Gouda but we're keeping our heads up and talking to as many people as we can. but anyways, while we were talking to celia that day she was like...I have no idea why all these bad things are all of a sudden happening in my life. Her health isn't that good, and there is a family problem in her family....it just proved to me though that satan doesn't want her to make the decision to follow the Lord. Satan wants her because she is going to do great things. and so it is with everyone who is righteous...just remember you are going to do great things and if you just pull through the hard times and pray to the Lord for strength and do your absolute best, you will make it through and you will be a stronger person. 1 Nephi 1:20 sums it up perfectly, "The tender mercies of the Lord are over all those whom he hath chosen, because of their faith, to make them mighty even unto the power of deliverance". I love our Savior, Jesus Christ. I know He lives and I know our Heavenly Father lives and He is in the details of our lives. I know if we just turn to them in humble prayer, they will open our eyes to see the blessing they have in store for us. I love you all and pray for you.

Missionary work is the bomb. Greenie fire is a real thing. This gospel is true. Here are some pics.

liefde,

Zuster Harris :) <3
